Patio Repointing & Joint Repairs
Repointing natural stone and porcelain paving using a suitable traditional mortar or resin-based jointing system.
Failed or missing paving joints can spoil the finish and allow weeds and movement. We assess the paving, its bedding and drainage before recommending repairs.

Traditional sand-and-cement jointing
Where suitable for the paving and its construction, we use traditional cement-based jointing methods to produce a strong, neat finish. The correct approach depends on the slabs, joint dimensions and bedding.
Resin-based jointing compounds
We can also use suitable resin-based or specialist paving jointing compounds. Certain products are water-permeable and allow rainwater to pass through the joints; others are not. Permeable joints alone do not make an entire patio permeable — the bedding and sub-base must also be suitable.
Joint repairs and finishing
We remove failed material where practical, prepare the joints and install the selected system to the manufacturer’s requirements. We can discuss colour options to complement the paving.
